The Atlanta Falcons 2023 season hasn’t started yet but the NFL decided to make their fanbase relive one of its biggest nightmares on Tuesday.

For some reason, the NFL’s Twitter account posted a video showing all of Super Bowl LI on Tuesday.

If you don’t remember, that was the Super Bowl in which the Falcons led the New England Patriots 28-3 and ended up blowing the lead and losing the game in a stunning reversal.

In the years since the Falcons have had to suffer 28-3 jokes at every turn. While the franchise is hoping to turn a corner soon and get back to winning, it certainly doesn’t need the NFL to be the ones to remind everyone about what happened that night.

Unfortunately for them, but fortunately for fans of other NFL teams, there were plenty of reactions and jokes to go around.

“Falcons fans were minding their own business and enjoying their week,” said Brian Floyd.

“This is violence,” added Sickos Committee.

“Official NFL account posting this on a random Tuesday in July,” said Ari Meirov. “Poor Falcons fans.”

Even the New Orleans Saints, who love nothing more than to stick it to the Falcons, got in on the action.
