When the Denver Broncos brought in head coach Sean Payton this season, they undoubtedly expected that he’d turn things around for an NFL franchise that has not had a lot of success over the past few years. But unfortunately for Broncos fans and players, the team is now 0-3 and just suffered a 50-point loss at the hands of the Miami Dolphins.

Following the game, Denver Broncos lineman Garett Bolles had a pretty blunt assessment of the state of the team after the blowout loss, making it clear that he has not tasted many victories during his time with the Broncos.

“I’m tired of losing, man,” Bolles said after the game. “I’ve been here for seven years and all I’ve done is lost.”

Bolles is right in that since he was selected by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, the team has had a losing record every single season, spanning three different head coaches and one interim head coach. Now on their fourth coach of Bolles’ NFL career with Payton leading the way, things aren’t trending much better in 2023.

We’ll have to see whether or not Payton and the team can get things turned around this year, but it’s been a brutal stretch for the Broncos the past few years.
