It sounds like the New York Jets have found a legitimate superstar wide receiver.

It’s no real secret that the Jets passing game has struggled this season following the injury to future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the first game of the season, but superstar wide receiver Garrett Wilson found a way to put up some impressive numbers anyway.

Even though the Jets have just the No. 31 passing offense in the NFL out of 32 teams, Garrett Wilson still found a way to top 1,000 yards on the season, eclipsing the 1,000-yard mark during Thursday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns.

“#Jets WR Garrett Wilson with the hardest-earned 1,000-yard season you ever will see. He now has 1,008 yards as part of the league’s 31st-ranked passing offense,” Jeremy Fowler of ESPN said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

It’s pretty impressive for Wilson to put up those kinds of numbers despite how bad the Jets passing offense has been all season and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media as a result.

If this is what Wilson could do in this year’s offense, it will certainly be interesting to see what kind of numbers he puts up next season with Rodgers returning to the lineup.
