The Cincinnati Bengals were hit with a bit of bad news this week when starting offensive linemen Jonah Jackson and Alex Cappa were ruled out with injuries, meaning the team would be without three starting offensive linemen after La’el Collins’ season-ending injury earlier in the season. But it looks like the team is making a big roster move to help address those injuries.

According to Cincinnati Bengals reporter Charlie Goldsmith of the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Bengals are activating offensive tackle Isaiah Prince from the practice squad to help bolster the offensive line after the multiple injuries.

“The Bengals elevated TE Nick Bowers and OT Isaiah Prince from the practice squad. Prince is expected to be active tomorrow as an option at tackle,” Goldsmith said in a tweet.

While Prince has not played for the Bengals at all this year, spending much of the season on injured reserve with an elbow injury, he was an integral part of the offensive line last season. The former Ohio State Buckeyes star started 15 games at right tackle for the Bengals last season, including all four postseason games through the team’s run to the Super Bowl.

While missing three starting offensive linemen heading into a playoff game is certainly not ideal, Prince has experience in these situations. And it sure sounds like quarterback Joe Burrow is confident in whoever is out there.
