Miami Dolphins star cornerback Jalen Ramsey suffered a knee injury in the preseason that required surgery in July, but it sounds like he could be ready to make his Miami Dolphins debut in the near future.

During a recent press conference, Miami Dolphins cornerbacks coach Sam Madison provided an update on Jalen Ramsey, announcing that the star cornerback could be ready to play next month.

“I’ve been speaking with the trainers a lot, and the weight room guys, and he looks really good, and he’s been really good for the young guys, coming out and encouraging them and telling them what he sees on film. So that’s very, very encouraging, having a veteran of that stature and having him still being into it,” Madison said according to Pro Football Talk.

“Very hopeful and looking forward to getting him on the field. I’ve been watching this guy for a very long time and finally had him in training camp. When he’s ready and it’s a go he’s definitely going to help us.”

It’s certainly a big announcement as he is only of the team’s most important players on the defensive side of the ball, and the NFL world had a lot to say about it on social media.

Dolphins fans certainly can’t wait to see him on the field for the team.
