Heading into the season, the Miami Dolphins have one of the top receiving corps in the entire NFL with superstar wide receivers Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill leading the way for the team. But that group got some concerning injury news on Wednesday when Waddle left practice with an apparent injury.

According to national NFL reporter Cameron Wolfe of the NFL Network, Jaylen Waddle left practice and walked back to the locker room with an apparent injury to his side during Wednesday’s practice.

“Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle just walked into locker room under his own power accompanied by trainers. He came out after making a catch during team drills and looked to be holding his side,” Wolfe wrote on Twitter on Wednesday morning.

Obviously, this is major and concerning news for the Miami Dolphins, and the NFL world had plenty to say about it on Twitter as a result.

It’s not immediately clear what the extent of Waddle’s injury is quite yet, but updates will surely come from the team throughout the day and weeks. But it is clear that it’s a concerning situation for Dolphins fans and everyone is understandably hoping for the best for the superstar wide receiver.
