Jets star Breece Hall receiving a handoff from Zach Wilson New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson (2) hands the ball to running back Breece Hall (20) in the first half against the New England Patriots at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023, in East Rutherford.

The New York Jets have been disappointing this season, in large part due to the absence of star quarterback Aaron Rodgers. However, one angry fan is blaming their recent losses on star running back Breece Hall. And that fan even somehow messaged Hall on PlayStation to voice his frustrations.

Hall, much like the rest of the Jets offense with Zach Wilson at the helm, hasn’t had the best year. Aside from a 127-yard season debut, Hall has largely been kept in check by opposing defense. In two of four games this year, he has been held under 20 rushing yards.

This apparently prompted an angry fan to message Hall on PlayStation, which the Jets second-year running back took to social media to share on Tuesday night.

“Y’all texting me off PS5 now?” tweeted Hall.

There is an obvious question here. How did this fan even figure out Hall’s PlayStation name? Well, it seems like Hall played a game of Madden against him, as the fan alluded to the popular video game in his message to Hall.

“Maybe the Jets would win more if you could score a TD in real life, not Madden,” the fan said in his message to Hall.

The NFL world took notice of Hall’s tweet and couldn’t believe the dedication of this angry fan.

Of all the people to blame for the Jets’ struggles, Hall certainly doesn’t jump to the front of most people’s minds. But clearly based on this message to Hall, there are at least some fans who are upset about his performance as of late.
