The Arizona Cardinals are set to take on the Los Angeles Rams on the road tonight, and the Cardinals may be getting a huge piece back that can play a big role for them.
Former Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt was designated to return from the injured reserve list for the Cardinals earlier this month, with the hopes for a return in tonight’s playoff game.
It appears that is the plan for Watt, as he posted this video this morning that suggests he will be good to go tonight.

The Arizona Cardinals have also made moves that suggest Watt will be activated prior to the game, as they cleared a roster spot by releasing cornerback Brion Borders.

Watt will certainly play a big factor should he be good to go. Here are some reactions to the video posted by Watt this morning.
Yeah, you don’t post this kind of video if you’re not making your return.

Can’t remember when I’ve seen a production like this from a player’s social media account. Really well done. https://t.co/gzRnMDtM8h

Watt hasn’t played a game since Week 7 of this season against the Houston Texans, where he tore his labrum, bicep, and rotator cuff. Watt was expected to be out for the rest of the season, but he progressed far faster than anyone thought that he would.
The Cardinals are currently 3.5 point underdogs in their matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, so any contributions that they can get from Watt will certainly be worthwhile for them to move on to the next round of the playoffs.
