Allegations of Johnny Manziel beating his girlfriend are false according to her.
Manziel’s current girlfriend, Kenzie Werner, caused a stir when photos of her were posted on social media with bruises on her.
Now, she claims that her social media account was hacked.
“Was hacked last night,” she said.“Just got my account back.“Please disregard what was posted. It isn’t as it seems.”
The pictures were posted late Tuesday night with the caption “This is from johnny manziel.” The post was also linked to Manziel’s page which was later taken down.
Werner’s representatives said the pics had nothing to do with Manziel and that she had an accident at work where a three-liter bottle of champagne fell on her.
This is not the first time Manziel had to face allegations of domestic violence. In December 2016, Manziel reached an agreement to dismiss the domestic violence charge against him after he was accused of hitting and threatening his ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, during a night out in January of that year.
Manziel has been public about his struggles with substance abuse and with bipolar disorder. He was the first-round draft choice of the Cleveland Browns back in 2014 and was unable to catch on with another NFL team when the Browns released him.
Manziel had seemly gotten his life together over the years and was in a better place in his life.
