Justin Jefferson doesn’t care about your fantasy football team.
No matter how many times fantasy football owners around the country flood his DMs on social media, Jefferson isn’t backing down from his recovery process. The Minnesota Vikings wide receiver has already missed the past six games with a hamstring injury and has maintained that he won’t return until he’s at 100 percent.
“My health is wayyyy more important than you winning your fantasy games,” he wrote on social media Tuesday. “It doesn’t matter how many times y’all flood my DMs talking about me selling your team. I DONT CARE.”

Even with Jefferson — arguably the game’s top receiver — out of the lineup, Minnesota has been able to tread water. While the Vikings lost on Sunday Night Football to the Denver Broncos, the team has gotten more than enough production out of the likes of Jordan Addison, T.J. Hockenson, Brandon Powell and K.J. Osborn, among others. That’s not to say they don’t miss Jefferson — they very much do — but Minnesota has been able to keep themselves in playoff contention with Joshua Dobbs under center.
Jefferson’s return will only be an added boost for a team looking to make a playoff push. And perhaps, he can help fantasy owners make a late-season playoff push as well; they might need to stop sending him direct messages on social media, though.
