The locker room is a sanctuary filled with bonding and a soundtrack always playing in the background in the form of a shuffled playlist.

For Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson, he heard a band for the first time — many years after they were well-known and were awarded for their catchy hits.

Yep, I’m talking about Creed. And he can thank one particular quarterback for that.

“The only ‘Creed’ I knew about was the boxing movie,” Jefferson told reporters on Thursday. (h/t Fox News) “I did not know about no Creed until Kirk Cousins started playing it in the locker room.”

But hey, whatever helps.

“If it gets the job done, I’m all for it,” the 24-year-old said.

Cousins suffered a season-ending injury in the Week 8, 24-10, win over the Green Bay Packers, forcing Joshua Dobbs to step up in the pocket.

Dobbs also took over the reins in embracing the rock band. He posted a TikTok video with Creeds “Higher” playing in the background, with the caption: “CAN YOU TAKE ME HIGHER?”

It certainly helped the Texas Rangers who won their first World Series ever in 2023. They also used Creed music as their theme pushed them over the edge to have them winning the whole thing.

It’s also perfect timing for the band who announced their reunion tour — the first time the group has been together in over a decade.

Now you know, Justin. Now you know.
