Xavier Babudar, better known as Kansas City Chiefs superfan ‘Chiefsaholic’, has been on the run since March after he failed to appear for a court date. The FBI revealed on Monday that he has been found in Lincoln, California, and faces federal court charges.

Babudar first got on the FBI’s radar after being arrested in December for allegedly robbing the Tulsa Teachers Credit Union in Bixby, Oklahoma. He was released on bond in February, and later reportedly removed an ankle monitor just weeks after.

Kansas City Crimestoppers added Babudar to Kansas City’s “Most Wanted” fugitives list back in June.

The Chiefs superfan who is most synonymous with wearing a wolf costume to Chiefs football games was charged with one count of bank theft and one count of transporting stolen property across state lines, according to a criminal complaint filed in the U.S. District Court in Kansas City, first reported by Fox 4 in Kansas City.

It now also seems like Babudar may have a tie to several other unsolved robberies throughout the Midwest. According to an affidavit filed in support of the federal criminal complaint, Babudar reportedly traveled throughout the Midwest to rob various banks and credit unions.

Investigators have reviewed unsolved bank robberies throughout the Midwest, determining Babudar’s cell phone was in the same cities and locations for the previously unsolved bank robberies and attempted robberies, according to the affidavit.

It seems pretty safe to say that ‘Chiefsaholic’ won’t be in attendance for any more Chiefs games in the near future…
