The Baltimore Ravens fell just short of a trip to the Super Bowl on Sunday afternoon when they fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. And after the loss, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was pretty open about his feelings.

During his postgame press conference, Lamar Jackson said that frustration wasn’t exactly what he was feeling after the loss. Instead, he was feeling anger.

“I’m not frustrated at all,” Jackson said according to Pro Football Talk. “I’m angry about losing. We were a game away from the Super Bowl. We’ve been waiting all this time, all these moments for an opportunity like this, and we fell short, but I feel like our team is going to build. This offseason, we’re going to get right, get better, grind and try to be in this position again but on the other side of victory.”

Now, Jackson will have to sit with this anger and disappointment all offseason as the team tries to make the necessary improvements in preparation for next season.

We’ll have to see whether or not the Ravens can get back to this stage next year and get another crack at a potential trip to the Super Bowl next season.
