New England Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon is known for his elite play on the field, but on Monday it was something off-the-field that had the four-time Pro Bowler in the news.

On Sunday, Daily Loud tweeted that Ariana Grande’s re-released album “Yours Truly” will feature a tribute to Mac Miller, Grande’s ex-boyfriend who died in 2018.

Grande collaborated with Miller on the song “The Way” and Miller appeared in the music video. In the re-released version of the song, Grande added a string orchestra in the background over Miller’s final verse, per Teen Vogue.

Judon made his feelings on the tribute known, tweeting, “Absolutely no one cares. Don’t be sad now just because he’s dead it’s your fault”

Judon’s tweet has been seen over four million times, with many accounts getting mad at him over what they feel is a tasteless thought, and others simply wondering how the post hasn’t been deleted yet.

Since joining the Patriots prior to the 2021 season as a free agent, Judon has excelled, recording 28 sacks in two seasons and positioning himself as one of New England’s leaders.

The 31-year-old Grand Valley State alum was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft and made two Pro Bowl appearances with Baltimore before signing with the Patriots.
