Most fans around the NFL world were shocked when the Miami Dolphins fired head coach Brian Flores back in January. Now it appears that Miami is beginning to narrow down their search for a new head coach.
There are reports that Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore and San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel are getting second interviews later this week. These are the two known finalists for the head coaching position, according to Ian Rapoport.

It was reported last week that Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh could be in contention for the position, but it now seems that he will either stay at Michigan or end up going to the Minnesota Vikings.
Harbaugh will be interviewing in person with the Vikings tomorrow for their head coaching vacancy, interestingly on national signing day in college football.
It was well-documented that Flores was never fully sold on second-year quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, and whoever the Dolphins choose will have to be committed to the development of Tagovailoa, who they seem to be all-in on by firing Flores.
It seems to make sense that the Dolphins are targeting Kellen Moore and Mike McDaniel for their vacant position. Both are known as offensive minds who have had a big role in the development of their quarterbacks that could certainly help the young Dolphins quarterback going forward.
