This weekend’s showdown between the Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys will feature a matchup between one of the league’s best quarterbacks and one of its best defenders, with Josh Allen squaring off with Micah Parsons.
And when it comes to preparing to face the Bills’ star quarterback, the Cowboys’ defensive end/outside linebacker made a hilarious comparison, with Parsons likening Allen’s running style to that of a frat boy.
“Josh doesn’t really believe in sliding. You know, Josh reminds me a lot of that one crazy guy at the frat,” Parsons told reporters, according to The Athletic’s Jon Machota. “He’s that wild dude on the field. He wants to dip his shoulder, talk trash, he’s gonna get rowdy.”

To Parsons’ point, the 6-foot-5, 237-pound Allen has rushed for 374 yards on 72 attempts, as well as a career-high 10 rushing touchdowns through the first 13 games of the 2023 campaign. Two weeks ago, the Wyoming product rushed for a season-high 81 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries in what was a 37-34 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Moving the ball against Dallas, however, will be easier said than done, as the Cowboys’ defense ranks third in the NFL in yardage and fourth in scoring. Parsons has obviously been a big part of the Cowboys’ defensive success, as the Penn State product is currently the betting favorite to be named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
