The Seattle Seahawks absolutely dumped Daniel Jones and the New York Giants, 24-3, on Monday Night Football.

The loss was the third time in four games that the Giants had been humbled on national television.

According to NFL.com, the Giants’ offense surrendered 11 sacks, and Jones turned the ball over three times. The defense “whiffed on crucial tackles” while the special teams earned “a laughable” six penalties.

After the game, head coach Brian Daboll revealed that fans are right to be upset by the team’s putrid performance thus far.

“I’d be upset too if I was a fan,” head coach Brian Daboll said after the game, according to NFL.com. “There’s a lot of things we’ve got to do better, and that’s what we’ll try to do.”

The Giants recently signed Jones to a massive contract extension that will pay him $40 million this season. Jones said he too knows he didn’t play up to that payday in the latest humiliating loss at home.

“I mean obviously I didn’t play well enough,” Jones said. “It was unacceptable and I let the team down, so I’ve got to fix it. I’ve got to work hard to get it right and I’m going to do that.”

The Giants head to Florida on Sunday to face the Miami Dolphins.
