Many around the NFL world were outraged when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and quarterback Tom Brady were bailed out by a roughing the passer call on Atlanta Falcons defensive lineman Grady Jarrett that helped Tampa Bay get a key Week 5 victory.

While pretty much everyone is in agreement that the call was a terrible one, there was a key element of that play that people did not notice at first glance.

When you look closer at that play, you can see Brady seemingly kicking Jarrett off of him as Jarrett tries to stand up.

The NFL quickly noticed this egregious action from Brady following the game and issued him with disciplinary actions on Friday.

According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, the NFL notified Brady that he is being fined $11,139 for kicking Jarrett.

This certainly got the attention of many around the NFL world, who were pleased that Brady received some sort of punishment for this offense.

Many are also still upset with the missed call against Jarrett on the field that helped the Buccaneers win the game.

The crazy thing about this incident is that it wasn’t even the first time in the game that Brady had kicked Jarrett.

Video emerged on social media showing Brady kicking Jarrett in the head earlier in the game, which was also not noticed by referees during the game.

Tom Brady admittedly has a lot going on right now outside of football with his marriage issues with his wife Gisele Bündchen, but this is still no excuse to be acting like this on the field.
