While Odell Beckham Jr. hasn’t appeared in an NFL game in over a year after suffering an ACL injury during the Los Angeles Rams’ Super Bowl victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, the star wide receiver is looking to make a comeback.

While it was reported by Pro Football Talk that Beckham was seeking a contract — upwards of $20 million — from whatever NFL team signs him this offseason, the 30-year-old Super Bowl champion sounded off on the notion that he was demanding a massive contract. Beckham took to Twitter to tell his side of events, while also revealing that an unnamed NFL team reportedly came at him with a lowball offer.

“I’m just so confused where the quote is from me [that] said I want 20 [million]…..all I’m saying is 4 [million] AINT enough,” Beckham tweeted on Saturday morning.

This isn’t the first time that Beckham has complained about the offers he’s been receiving on the free-agent market.

“They wanna try Mouton but pay box wine price for it,” Beckham tweeted on March 17.

Beckham insinuated in a tweet to former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant that he’s “down to bargain,” but NFL teams negotiating with him and his representation are “over they heads.” Beckham said that he looks at an offer of $6 million as $3 million because of taxes and if he spends $1 million of that, it’s not going to leave him with much.

“NOW WHAT THAT LEAVE ME WIT,” he wrote.

ESPN’s Dianna Russini reported on Friday that the New York Jets remain interested in Beckham and have been keeping in touch with his side. We’ll have to see if he ultimately ends up returning to East Rutherford in a homecoming of some sorts, but for now, it doesn’t seem Beckham is too happy with his current market.
