The Baltimore Ravens organization has to be pretty happy to know that Lamar Jackson will continue to be their quarterback in the years ahead.
Do you know who else is pretty happy about it? New Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr.
The Ravens agreed to terms with Jackson on Thursday on a five-year, $260 million deal that will make the quarterback the highest-paid player in the NFL, surpassing the deal that Jalen Hurts signed with the Philadelphia Eagles two weeks back.
Beckham, who signed with the Ravens last week, said at the time that he wasn’t assured that Jackson would be his quarterback this season, but he was hopeful.
Now that the news is out and Jackson will be able to sling touchdowns in OBJ’s direction in 2023, the wide receiver got right to the point on Twitter.
“BOOOOKUMMM!!” he wrote, in the wake of the news hitting social media.

He then followed that up with another tweet that was simply, “truzzzz,” which is Jackson’s catchphrase.

It should be a pretty interesting season in Baltimore. If both Jackson and OBJ stay healthy, they could be one of the more exciting tandems in the NFL. However, both have been dealing with injuries in recent years, so it remains to be seen if they’ll be able to live up to the hype.
