Oregon Ducks center Jackson Powers-Johnson was beloved by Oregon fans throughout his three-year collegiate career with the program, helping them operate one of the most efficient offenses in all of college football. He was so beloved in fact that he had a burger named after him at a local brewery in Eugene, Oregon, that any foodie would be proud of.

Powers-Johnson is largely expected by most draft experts to be among the top interior offensive linemen off the board in the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.

He answered questions on Saturday at the NFL Scouting Combine on Saturday, even sharing the ingredients of his over-the-top burger called the “Big Jax” burger.

“Yeah so shoutout Elk Horn Brewery in Eugene, Oregon,” said Powers-Johnson. “It’s not a sandwich it’s a burger. It’s called the Big Jax burger. Has a lot of stuff in it, it’s a big-man delight. So start with the bun. Really great brioche bun. Under that, we got a little bit of barbeque, some queso, some Mac and Cheese, pulled pork, some bacon, two patties, and a bun under there. If you can finish that, the meal is probably free.”

It’s a pretty serious burger that just about anybody would have an issue taking down in one sitting. And it is an incredibly fitting one for a player like Powers-Johnson, who stands at 6-foot-3 and weighs around 320 lbs.

Powers-Johnson will have a chance to improve his draft stock at the combine on Sunday when he and the rest of the offensive linemen invited to the event will test for NFL scouts in attendance.
