Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper lost his temper after Sunday’s loss and his message spoke for many fans tired of the team’s losing ways.

According to multiple reports, Tepper shook his head and yelled “****” after leaving the team’s locker room in the wake of a 17-10 loss to the Tennessee Titans.

The loss runs the Panthers’ record to 1-10. The team has yet to post a winning record in Tepper’s six seasons of ownership.

Many Panthers fans and NFL observers are convinced that Tepper is a big part of the problem. Unlike most successful NFL team owners who get out of the way and let their coach, GM and other personnel make football decisions, Tepper has been a hands-on owner. And the results have not been pretty, as evidenced by the Panthers’ 30-62 record during his tenure.

Pro Football Talk reported Sunday that Tepper heavily influenced the Panthers’ decision to draft quarterback Bryce Young No. 1 overall, against the wishes of other team executives who preferred C.J. Stroud or Anthony Richardson.

There’s speculation that head coach Frank Reich will be fired at the end of his first season. Many Carolina fans, anticipating that move, and tired of the team’s losing ways, think Tepper should take a look in the mirror before he casts blame.

As one fan noted on X/Twitter, “Guy has failed his players, his employees, the fans, the Carolinas and himself. I’d be upset too.”
