It’s been quite a week for Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes. After re-aggravating his high ankle sprain in the first half of Sunday night’s Super Bowl showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles, Mahomes led his team back from a double-digit deficit to win a second Super Bowl title in his young career, claiming the game’s MVP award in the process. It’s certainly worth celebrating, but it looks like he may have gone a little overboard at the victory parade.

As a recent video shows, Patrick Mahomes appears to have had quite a bit to drink at the Chiefs’ celebratory parade in downtown Kansas City this week. And it seems to have impacted his judgment a little bit as he even handed the Lombardi Trophy to a fan in the stands as he posed for a photo and then walked away without it.

“This man Patrick Mahomes was so wasted bro gave the fan the Super Bowl trophy,” Shannonsharpeee said in a tweet.

The video has gone absolutely viral and the NFL world had plenty to say about Mahomes’ shocking antics.

It’s safe to assume that the Chiefs did get the trophy back, but it was certainly a funny situation.
