Wednesday, we got a little glimpse into Travis Kelce’s acting abilities after he announced he would be the host of Saturday Night Live.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end did his own skit leading up to the week’s comedic sketch show. And he did so in a spoof of the iconic film Raiders of the Lost Ark.

It didn’t take long for Kelce’s teammate, Super Bowl MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes, to give his reaction.

Mahomes appeared to love it, and rightfully so.

This was more than just sporting a fedora, or Kelce dating several women at once. Those both take skills, sure, but Kelce used the Vince Lombardi Trophy during his scene to emulate everything a professor of archeological studies needs.

Kelce had to replace the SNL sign with the victorious hardware.

A little Harrison Ford, a little Kelce.

He also stayed true to the trophies ways and made sure he was the only one to touch it with bare hands. Only those who have sealed a Super Bowl victory can touch the sacred trophy without wearing gloves.

SNL cast members Bowen Yang and Ego Nwodim also showed up in the sketch.

“Doesn’t he play football?” Nwodim asked.

“It’s an absolute honor and it’s an absolute honor and a privilege to be hosting SNL on March 4,” Kelce announced earlier this month.

Kelce will host Saturday’s show with musical guest, country singer Kelsea Ballerini.

You know that Mahomes and the rest of Kelce’s Kansas City teammates will be watching.
