During Green Bay Packers practice this week, legendary NFL quarterback Peyton Manning was in attendance and it sounds like he delivered quite an inspiring message to the team.

During his press conference this week, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur had high praise for Peyton Manning, calling him “one of the all-time greats” and making it clear that he had an important message to the team.

“It was great,” LaFleur said according to Pro Football Talk. “He addressed our team [about] the lessons he learned, especially as a young player, how to respond to adversity, the great teams he was on, his approach to the game. I thought it was super beneficial. You’re talking about one of the all-time greats.”

It’s not clear exactly why Manning was in attendance at the Green Bay Packers practice, but according to Pro Football Talk, it “appeared to be in his capacity as the owner of Omaha Productions, the production company behind a number of popular programs including the Netflix documentary Quarterback.”

Regardless of why it was there, LaFleur made it very clear that the Packers greatly benefitted from whatever it was he had to say during his speech to the team.
