This week has been filled with drama between the New York Jets and former player Mecole Hardman Jr., and it took a wild twist on Wednesday night.

According to a report from Connor Hughes of SNY, there is a “validated belief” from the New York Jets that Mecole Hardman Jr. leaked game plans to the Philadelphia Eagles – who still lost the game.

“Yes, I’m told there was validated belief from the #Jets that WR Mecole Hardman, frustrated by his lack-of usage, leaked game plans to the opposition, as implied by several players (Sauce Gardner, Kenny Yeboah) today. Not just the #Eagles game, but also the #Chiefs.

“Ironically, the Eagles victory was arguably the best of the season for the Jets while Zach Wilson enjoyed the best game of his career against the Chiefs,” Hughes said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

While this is obviously a major accusation against Hardman, it’s also some pretty horrible news for the Philadelphia Eagles as it would mean that the team had the advantage of knowing the Jets’ gameplan, but still lost the game as a result of one of New York’s best offensive performances of the season.

People had a lot to say about it on social media.

If it’s true, it would obviously be extremely embarrassing that the Eagles still lost this game.
