Somebody went all-out with their trolling efforts before Thursday night’s Falcons-Saints game, and we’ll assume it’s a Saints fan (or perhaps a Patriots fan).

A plane flew above Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium with a banner mocking the Falcons’ 28-3 blown lead in the Super Bowl. The banner reads, ” “28-3 Never Forget!”

Ouch. It’s going to be hard for the Falcons to live that one down.

But, the Falcons did come away with a big 20-17 win over the Saints in this game (despite three Matt Ryan interceptions), to improve their record to 8-5 and get within one game of New Orleans in the NFC South race. Maybe they can get back to the Super Bowl and change the narrative, like the Golden State Warriors did.
