The Baltimore Ravens’ potent offense suffered a huge blow Thursday night.
All-Pro tight end Mark Andrews left the game in the first half with an ankle injury after Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson rolled up on his leg on a hip-drop tackle.
He did not return, and after Baltimore’s 34-20 win, head coach John Harbaugh confirmed the worst fears.
“Mark Andrews has a very serious ankle injury. It looks like a season-ending injury,” Harbaugh told reporters. “Our prayers will be with Mark. Nobody cares more about the team and being there for the guys like Mark Andrews.
“This is going to be hard for him, but we’re going to be there for him all the way.”

An MRI is planned for Friday to confirm the injury’s extent.
Andrews, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, had been quarterback Lamar Jackson’s favorite target for years. He drew double teams from the Bengals before his injury Thursday.
The 28-year-old tight end has 59 targets this season, second on the team behind Zay Flowers (69). Andrews has 43 catches for 521 yards and six touchdowns this year.
Ravens fans, who also watched Jackson get up looking gimpy after two or three plays, were not happy about the news.
Football gods have forsaken us, AGAIN

League needs to cut back on TNF games. Too many injuries and sloppy play on 3 days rest is hurting the quality of the product.

That’s going to be hard to overcome in the long run. He’s that important. 😔

Dang didn’t seem that serious. Sucks he got it rolled up on but I really don’t see how anyone could say it was a dirty play or intentional because it obviously wasn’t
