The New Orleans Saints headed into Week 10’s game against the Minnesota Vikings looking to extend their winning streak to three games. Instead, they became the fifth straight team to fall to Minnesota, losing 27-19.

And Cameron Jordan, by far the longest-tenured player on the Saints, could not hide his disgust at his team’s performance.

The veteran defensive lineman sent out a message of frustration shortly after Sunday’s loss.

“Screw a 24 hr rule, this gon sting in more ways than one,” he said on Twitter/X. “A week of watching what we did as a team the first half, to come back just to Say good Fight. That’s clearly not a winning formula. Take This week and get ready to win the back half. Whodat.”

Sunday’s loss in Minnesota was bad for the Saints and the season has been uneven. That said, even after falling to the Vikings, things look OK for New Orleans. Granted, a lot of that comes as much (or more) from the struggles of the competition than anything the Saints are doing well.

At 5-5, New Orleans is the only NFC South team that does not have a losing record. With a bye in Week 11, the Saints have some time to get things straightened out before returning to the field in Week 12 for a game against the Atlanta Falcons. That said, New Orleans is only one-half game ahead of the 4-5 Falcons and a game clear of the 4-6 Buccaneers. The Saints have two games remaining against Atlanta and another against the Buccaneers, who won the season’s first meeting between the two teams.

So, things still look OK for New Orleans, but the tight race provides a sense of urgency to tighten things up.
