The New Orleans Saints got some bad news this week as star running back Alvin Kamara was given a three-game suspension from the league for his role in a fight in Las Vegas last year. And it looks like the Saints are already making some important moves to bolster their running back position as a result.

According to a report from league insider Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the New Orleans Saints are bringing in former Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt for a visit following the suspension to Alvin Kamara.

“Source: Kareem Hunt is making a free agent visiting to the #Saints. The former rushing leader could be headed to the NFL South,” Fowler said in a tweet on Monday morning.

Hunt was once one of the most dominant running backs in the entire NFL, leading the league in rushing back in 2017 when he was with the Kansas City Chiefs. His production dropped off significantly the past two seasons with the Browns, which was partially a result of sharing a backfield with fellow star Nick Chubb.

We’ll have to see whether or not the Saints decide to bring in Hunt to bolster their running backs room with Kamara out for three games.
