This week, legendary NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens was involved in a very scary and quite dangerous situation following an argument during a pickup basketball game in Calabasas, California.

According to a report from TMZ Sports, a man intentionally hit Terrell Owens in the knee with a car after the two got into an argument on the court during a pickup basketball game.

“Owens had been hooping in the Calabasas area when he apparently got into an argument with someone else on the court,” TMZ Sports reported on Tuesday morning. “We’re told following the game, the man who had been beefing with the NFL legend got into a car … and drove the vehicle right into the former wide receiver’s knee.”

It’s obviously a very scary situation for the legendary receiver that obviously could have led to some very serious injuries, but the good news is that it seems like Owens will be alright.

“Thankfully, cops say Owens did not require medical attention,” TMZ reported.

Still, it’s a horrifying situation for Owens to be involved in, and the NFL world had a lot to say about the incident on social media as a result.

Cops did take a report for assault with a deadly weapon, according to TMZ, but no arrests have been made yet.
