Terry Bradshaw

Russell Wilson has been the center of criticism for several months now. The Denver Broncos quarterback failed to live up to expectations set for him by the huge trade that went through in the offseason that sent him to the Mile High city. The massive contract didn’t help matters either. Though the season has been over for the Broncos for a while now, that hasn’t stopped the discussion about Wilson.

Longtime Fox NFL Sunday analyst Terry Bradshaw spoke about Sean Payton and his new gig with the Broncos as Bradshaw is in Arizona for the Super Bowl. Payton joined the Broncos after spending one season with the FOX NFL crew. While he spoke on that, Russell Wilson came up. Needless to say, it doesn’t sound like Bradshaw is a big fan.

“He’s gonna be a successful coach because he’s gonna get that team and create that makeup and that doesn’t mean it’s gonna be with the people there,” Bradshaw said via Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post.

“Quarterback’s… he’s never going to have to do this,” the legendary QB said of Wilson, when it came to Super Bowl Media Day. “He ain’t gonna sit here… His little a– is $35 million a year for 10 years… S—!” Bradshaw said through laughter.

“That makes me sick, man alive. 300 grand I made, isn’t that sad?”

As far as Wilson takes go, this one is among the hotter takes. We know that Wilson makes a lot of money, and we know he’s not exactly lived up to it. But it does take two to tango in negotiations.
