The Kansas City Chiefs received a ton of new fans on Sunday after pop icon Taylor Swift appeared at their game on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. And this has seemingly correlated to a ridiculous jump in jersey sales for Swift’s alleged boyfriend Travis Kelce.
While neither Kelce nor Swift has officially confirmed their relationship, it certainly appears that at the very least the two are getting to know one another.
Swift was notably seen at the game sitting alongside Kelce’s mom. She then left with Kelce out of Arrowhead Stadium shortly after Sunday’s game.
Swift’s fanbase is obviously as passionate as an celebrity fanbase in the world. And it seems like Kelce has now attracted that very same fanbase.
According to TMZ, Kelce’s jersey sales have absolutely blown up on NFL Shop Sunday, according to a statement that TMZ received from Fanatics.
“Yesterday, Travis Kelce was one of the top 5 selling NFL players and saw a nearly 400% spike in sales throughout the Fanatics network of sites, including NFLShop.com,” Fanatics told TMZ.
A 400 percent increase for any reason in ticket sales is obviously absolutely absurd. But most fans understood this wild stat considering just how big of an influence Taylor Swift truly is.

Kelce was obviously already a big name in the NFL, helping the Chiefs win two Super Bowl championships as one of the best tight ends in NFL history. But if his alleged relationship with Taylor Swift continues, we may see Kelce hit a new level in terms of popularity and stardom.
