While most football fans are looking forward to the Super Bowl on Sunday, many are wondering what is going to happen after the game, especially if the Kansas City Chiefs win their third Super Bowl ring in five seasons.
As many know, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s girlfriend is pop singer Taylor Swift and they have been all over the news since they went public with their romance. The pair have been so open with their relationship that many are wondering if the Chiefs win, will Kelce pop the question after the game?
There is already speculation and some excitement, especially from fans of the pair, that Kelce will do it on the field if the Chiefs win, but Kelce put that speculation to rest when asked about it.
“I’m focused on getting this ring and that’s all my mind’s focused on right now,” he said.
Now, that’s not exactly a no, but Kelce does seem to be more focused on football at the moment, which is understandable.
But he did say on The Pat McAfee Show that despite the push from some fans to make it official, he and Swift are just enjoying each other’s company.
“It’s a beautiful thing, isn’t it?” Kelce said to McAfee. “Hopefully everybody realizes that we’re just two people in a relationship supporting each other and having fun with it, man. It’s nothing more than that, and no matter how much the world wants to paint the picture and make us the enemy, we just have fun with it. We enjoy every single bit of it.”
Swift has been taking a lot of heat since Sunday after her fourth Grammy win for Album of the Year because she snubbed Celine Dion who presented her the award.

Many fans, including a lot of Swifties, were disappointed at how she treated Dion, who had been out of the spotlight recently because of an illness.
But there was a picture posted after the ceremony of the pair hugging each other. Another thing some fans noticed was during her acceptance speech, she didn’t thank Kelce. That didn’t bother him. In fact, he praised her for her win.
“She’s unbelievable,” he said. “She’s rewriting the history books. I told her I need to hold up my end of the bargain and bring home some hardware, too.”
Kelce wasn’t able to attend the show on Sunday because it was the beginning of Super Bowl LVIII week in Las Vegas. But many think after the game that he will join Swift on tour.
Now, for you gamblers out there, there are odds out there betting on whether or not Kelce will propose to Swift after the game. The odds right now are against the pair getting engaged on the field, but if a Swiftie believes in love and wants to get a huge payout, they might want to put a few dollars down just for the heck of it cause you never know what could happen.
