The Jacksonville Jaguars faced off against Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday, and star quarterback Trevor Lawrence had an extremely unique winning streak that was on the line.

Dating back to his high school career, Lawrence had never lost a game on Saturday, coming into the game with a 37-0 record.

Facing off against the Chiefs and star quarterback Patrick Mahomes presented easily the most difficult matchup he has ever faced on a Saturday, and it was ultimately too much for him to overcome.

Lawrence had a so-s0 game, throwing for 217 yards and one touchdown along with one extremely costly interception which ended up being one of the deciding factors in his wild winning streak coming to an end.

While the loss was not entirely on him, he certainly needed to play much better to beat a great team like the Chiefs.

Following the end result, Trevor Lawrence showed off some great leadership qualities, making sure to give every one of his teammates a high-five despite the game not going their way.

It is extremely impressive that Lawrence even made it to this point considering the Jaguars were the worst team in the NFL at 3-14 last year.

These leadership skills from Lawrence along with his typically impressive play on the field have the majority of the NFL world believing that he and the Jaguars will be back in the postseason for years to come.
