Around the holidays, the best gifts are the ones that keep on giving. Trevor Siemian may have found the perfect gift for his offensive linemen, courtesy of Skittles.

Siemian is the quarterback of the Denver Broncos, one of the few teams in the league that compete year in and year out. He may not be the next Tom Brady, but has been a serviceable player for his team this year. It makes sense that he would need some help with his presents this year.

He doesn’t have that huge contract just yet, so why not team up with Skittles and kill two birds with one stone?

The parkas would be nice on their own, but the candy takes it to an entirely different level. What would retail be on one of these? The sentiment of the gift is nice, but all I can think about is the cost. Maybe more candy companies should team up with other prominent players throughout the league.

Obviously Skittles has taken a liking to NFL players, going from Marshawn Lynch to Siemian, but what if M&Ms teamed up with the Browns? They have to be bored with their losing, so why not add some delicious fun to their sidelines and if it’s a hot day and they melt, no one will be the wiser.

Instead of color rush, the league needs to have a candy rush. Corporate synergy and scrumptious treats – it is a match made in NFL heaven.
