Ever since the Miami Dolphins added superstar receiver Tyreek Hill to the roster ahead of last season, it’s been clear that he has a strong relationship with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and it’s evident that the two have plenty of trust for each other on the field. But apparently, that trust isn’t totally unconditional off the field – especially when kids are involved.

This weekend, Tua Tagovailoa and many of his teammates participated in a celebrity softball game for charity, hosted by Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard. While participating in the event, Tagovailoa briefly spoke to some select media members where he was asked a pretty revealing question.

“Why on your team would you not let babysit your kids?” Tagovailoa was asked.

Tagovailoa only needed a few seconds to think before giving his answer: “probably Tyreek [Hill].”

The video then showed a montage of Hill’s social media antics on TikTok, seemingly illustrating that he would not be the best choice of babysitter for Tagovailoa.

But while Tagovailoa may not trust him with the safety of his children, he certainly trusts him to catch footballs. After all, Hill totaled more than 1,700 receiving yards Hill amassed last season, with the majority of those passes coming from Tagovailoa.
