This offseason, Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been talking a lot of trash to his former team, the Kansas City Chiefs, even declaring that he wanted to be the team’s “worse enemy” when the Dolphins played the Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium this year. His trash talk even drew a response from Chiefs corner L’Darius Snead, who was eager for the game in Arrowhead, too. But unfortunately for them, that game won’t be played in Arrowhead, after all.
According to Pro Football Talk, this year’s much-anticipated game between the Chiefs and the Dolphins will not be played in Kansas City, as previously indicated. Instead, the game will be played overseas in Frankfurt, Germany with the Chiefs as the “home” team.
“That’s surely a disappointment for Chiefs season ticket holders, who had circled the return of Hill as one of the marquee games of this season. But the NFL is serious about growing its fan base in Germany, and part of that effort includes scheduling some of the best games of the year for Germany,” Michael David Smith wrote for Pro Football Talk.
It’s pretty brutal news for Tyreek Hill, given how much he’s talked up his return to Arrowhead Stadium, and the NFL world had plenty to say about it on social media.

Hill will still get to face his former team, but it won’t be the homecoming he was hoping for.
