The Minnesota Vikings struggled on offense in Week 6 without star wide receiver Justin Jefferson. Luckily, they had another receiver step up in a big way on Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers, highlighted by a ridiculous touchdown catch from rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison.

Addison has been expected to receive much more opportunity with Jefferson sidelined. And he did just that on Monday night, dominating in the first half against San Francisco.

He finished the first half with four receptions for 95 yards and two touchdowns. One of those touchdowns came on a play you have to see to believe, a 60-yard touchdown catch where he wrestled the ball away from 49ers defender Charvarius Ward.

To make that catch at all is ridiculously impressive, as Ward was in perfect position to make the interception. But Addison was able to take it away from Ward and stay on his feet to run all the way into the end zone on a huge, momentum-swinging play.

Fans took notice of Addison’s unbelievable catch and praised him on social media.

Addison came to the Vikings as a first-round pick out of USC, where he was the top target for star USC quarterback Caleb Williams.

Williams took a ton of the spotlight while he was there, and obviously for good reason, as he could potentially be the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

However, Addison is clearly making a name for himself in the NFL. And with plays like this, it looks like the sky is the limit for him.
