The Washington Commanders have been receiving a ton of backlash, which is to be expected with a name and uniform change, but not for the reason that you may think.

The latest drama is about the team crest, which originally included the literal years that the team won the Super Bowl instead of the actual season that they won. Super Bowls are played in the next calendar year, meaning that, for example, the 1982 championship team for Washington was listed on their team crest as 1983.

This is a mistake that many fans have been asking for the team to change, and it appears that they have listened to the fans.

Here are some reactions from the fans who were asking for the dates to be that way all along.

While some are applauding the team for fixing the mistake, many are criticizing the organization for making the mistake in the first place.

While the organization fixed this issue, this is far from the only issue that exists in the organization.

The new name is still heavily criticized, owner Dan Snyder is facing possible removal by his fellow owners over misconduct reports, and then there’s the fact that the actual football team hasn’t been successful in quite some time.

While they were able to fix this small issue in Washington, it may not be possible to fix the ineptitude that has faced this organization for years.
