Earlier this year, the NFL Players Association released their report card for all 32 teams across the league, grading franchises on things like their locker rooms, weight rooms, training room, the treatment of player families, and food nutrition. Unfortunately for the Arizona Cardinals, they ranked near the bottom of the list in front of only the Washington Commanders with the report revealing that the team even charges players for food. But one player can already see improvements.

This week, Arizona Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz revealed that can already see some improvements around the team facilities and within the organization following the report published by the NFLPA.

“Everyone wants to make a big deal of the facilities and the report card, but I can see first-hand there have been improvements already,” Ertz said according to the team’s website. “This place screams of so much potential, and it’s up to everyone in the building to maximize that.”

Obviously, it’s good that the Cardinals were able to address the issues immediately. Not only does it improve the lives of the current players, but it makes it more likely that the team will be able to recruit high-level free agents in the future if they’ve proven willing to improve the conditions for the team.
