OJ Simpson weighed in on the verdict that held former President Donald Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation.

Simpson delivered his take on his personal Twitter account in a video. In the video, OJ admitted that he initially didn’t think the case would go anywhere. However, Simpson said, once the Access Hollywood tapes and others were used in the trial, he figured the President would land in hot water.

Simpson also said that he doesn’t believe the tape should have been administered and that the former President may be assisted by that in the appeals process.

Naturally, everyone has an opinion about the case including OJ Simpson.

The sports world reacted to the take on the trial.

One user, evidently, liked the idea of OJ delivering court updates a lot. I wonder why that is.

“We are living in an alternate universe,” one user posted.

Former Federal Prosecutor Ron Filipkowski also chimed in after he brought the video to attention.

“Only in America could this be a thing,” the Boston Globe Pitchbot said. True, very true.

The Donald Trump hysteria was recently compared to the OJ Simpson hysteria in the mid-90s. In the trial dubbed “The Trial of the Century,” a California jury acquitted Simpson of double-murder against Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
