Herschel Walker U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker speaks during a campaign stop on Thursday November 18, 2022 in the parking lot of Savannah Mall in Savannah Georgia.

We are only four days away from the runoff election between Senator Raphael Warnock and former Georgia Bulldogs running back Herschel Walker.

So far, the polls indict that Warnock still has a slight lead over Walker going into next Tuesday’s runoff. Warnock has gotten a lot of help this week from people like former president Barack Obama, while Walker was endorsed by Georgia governor-elect Brian Kemp.

But the thing that might decide this election might be something simple as: Do you like the man you are voting for? While Warnock voters seem to love and are excited about voting for him, Walker voters don’t seem to feel the same way.

Walker has been dragged across social media for his seemly lack of intelligence about the job he is vying for and his violent history.

A lot of Georgia voters seem to be embarrassed by Walker and not thrilled about his past deeds which may be why some may stay at home Tuesday, not to mention the fact that even if Walker does win the seat, the Democrats still will have control of the Senate.

Yet despite that, Walker voters may just hold their noses and vote for him anyway just to ensure that the Democrats don’t grow their narrow majority.
