You won’t hear all that many in the NBA community openly praising former United States President Donald Trump. But this week, it became extremely clear that Royce White is one of those few, offering his support for the former United States president by echoing a conspiracy theory.

Royce White, a former first-round pick in the NBA Draft, is participating in rapper Ice Cube’s BIG3 3-on-3 basketball league this year. He has never been shy about expressing his political views – often writing messages on his head – and he did it again this week, making a pretty controversial claim about Donald Trump and the 2020 election.

During the nationally-televised game this week, White wrote the phrase “Trump Won!” on his head in what appears to be a black Sharpie marker.

It’s a pretty bold claim from White, and his words certainly generated plenty of reactions on social media as a result.

This is definitely not the first time that White has played a game with a message written across his head like this. On July 3, White wrote “Protect RFK Jr.” across his head and in the past, he’s written a number of other messages including “Free the Uyghurs,” “Gain of Function” and “George Floyd.”
