Bobby Brown claims he’s got down with a ghost.
The R&B singer, best known for the 80’s hit My Prerogative, was doing the media rounds promoting his new book Every Little Step: My Story on ABC News with Robin Roberts. Roberts took the conversation to an unexpected place when she asked Brown if he ever had sex with a ghost. His answer is baffling.
RR: “I can’t believe I’m going to ask you this but I have to, did you have sex with a ghost?”
BB: “A Ghost, yeah.”
RR: “C’mon, man. Tell me about it”
BB: “I moved into this house. I bought this mansion in Georgia. This was a really, really spooky place. But yes, one time I woke and yeah, a ghost. I was being mounted by a ghost. I wasn’t high.”
RR: “That was my next question.”
BB: ” I wasn’t high at all.”
RR: “Were you tripping?”
BB: “No, I was not tripping.”
RR: “You’ve had quite a life.”
BB: “I’ve had some crazy situations.”
I don’t even know what to say.
Brown claiming to have sex with a ghost might be the single most bizarre thing I’ve heard in a very long time. The way he recounts the story makes it seem like the relations weren’t consensual.
The 47-year-old has a long history of drug and mental health issues, so while I’m baffled he’s so sure he had sex with a ghost, the likeliness of it actually taking place is about zero. The source isn’t reliable, even if you believe it’s possible.
As Brown stated, he’s been in some crazy situations, but I highly doubt having intercourse with a ghost is one of them – even if it’s hilarious to watch him describe.
