Who says soccer is boring? 56 minutes into Wednesday’s CONCACAF Gold Cup quarterfinal between the United States and El Salvador, the U.S. held a 2-0 lead. In need of a rallying moment, El Salvador defender Henry Romero decided to pull out the ultimate bush league move: a titty twister.
Altidore responded how anyone would respond to a purple nurple and shoved Romero to the ground. But apparently Romero wasn’t fazed as just moments later, he went for the gusto by biting Altidore on the shoulder while simultaneously giving him another titty twister.
This time Altidore dropped to the turf.
The ref apparently missed the groping as Romero didn’t receive a penalty on either play.
