Tobias Sana

In the world of stupid things soccer players have done, there may be a new level thanks to Swedish soccer player Tobias Sana.

While warming up as a sub for his side, Malmo, he was taunted and abused by opposing Goteborg fans. His response? Wait until he got to the end line and toss the corner flag right in to the opposing fans.

That could be harmless, except he apparently was doing his best to make the Swedish Olympic track & field team — Sana tossed the corner flag point-first like a javelin at the Goteborg fans.

Sana, who has been capped by the Swedish National Team and was previously with Ajax of the Dutch Eredivisie, appeared to be provoked by what looks like fireworks being hurled his way, which would explain the complete lack of judgement and the complete lack of humanity by Sana.

Luckily, reports indicate that no one in the stands nor Sana were hurt in the incident.

You can bet Sana will find himself in internet infamy, and on the Most Wanted list of Swedish league officials. It will be interesting to see just how long that ban will be once it comes down.
