Trailing by a touchdown, Mississippi State quarterback Garrett Shrader faced a late 4th down conversion try against Kansas State, and when things broke down, he was forced to scramble.

Facing oncoming defenders and still well shy of the first down yardage, Shrader attempted something that probably seemed smart at the time: hurdling them at full speed. It did not go well.

You can’t fault Shrader’s effort, though much like Mississippi State’s on the day, it came up just short: Kansas State would go on to win.
