Disgraced former WWE legend Tammy Sytch faces up to 25 years in prison following a crash that led to someone’s death.
TMZ reported Wednesday that Sytch, known to wrestling fans formerly as Sunny,’ entered a plea of no-contest at a Volusia County courtroom following a felony DUI causing death charge brought against her.
“The 50-year-old wrestling Hall of Famer was first hit with the count — and seven others — back in May 2022 … after officials alleged she killed a 75-year-old man during a drunken car crash just two months prior.”
Sytch made no-contest pleas to multiple charges, according to TMZ, which included a felony of driving with a suspended license causing death, four misdemeanors of DUI with damage to a person, and two misdemeanors of DUI with damage to property.
“According to court docs, she’s facing a maximum sentence of 25 years behind bars whenever it comes up,” TMZ said. The publication noted no sentencing hearing has been scheduled yet.
Sytch has remained jailed since the incident last May. The incident is the latest in a string of disappointing and horrific incidents that Sytch has gotten involved in. She’s been arrested for multiple DUIs over the years and has disillusioned herself from the wrestling business.
Should she receive the maximum sentence, it would completely destroy whatever chance she had of restoration.
