The best of the past and the best of the present teamed up to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

WWE Hall of Famer Lita and “The Man” Becky Lynch faced Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky from Damage CTRL in the main event of WWE Raw. With some help from fellow Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, Lita and Lynch got the pin to become the new champs.

The crowd was hyped throughout the match and went ballistic when Lita hit the moonsault for the win. Songwriter and recording artist Cardi B was watching Raw and was amazed at what was happening.

Needless to say, Cardi B probably wasn’t the only person to think that.

We are gearing up for WrestleMania season, so some legends will be out and about this time of the year. But what was great about Monday’s main event was it kept everyone strong, including the Women’s Tag Team titles. It doesn’t hurt to have Lita and Becky Lynch have those titles for a bit.

In addition, even though Damage CTRL was the heels, Bayley tried to help Kai and Sky win before Stratus evened the numbers. That being said, the outside distraction could give Damage CTRL a reason to get a rematch in the future, while Bayley will probably want to go up against Stratus in the near future. Maybe at WrestleMania?
